It is our policy to reduce waste by recycling as much used and discarded material as possible.
In addition to stocking the major proprietary brands of copier/laser paper, Limetree has its own cutting, drilling and perforating machinery which we use to re-process paper that would otherwise go to waste. We can produce standard or custom sizes of paper and various configurations of hole-punched and/or perforated paper from these recovered materials.
Major paper manufacturers experience inevitable wastage during the packaging, handling and delivery of their merchandise. Each year we take in excess of 100 tonnes of this material and convert approximately 85% of it into useful product instead of it just being dumped. We try to re-use existing wrappers where possible. However, a ream that has been damaged along one edge can be cut down to a perfect ream of a smaller size and rewrapped. This high quality recycled pre-consumer waste allows our customers the satisfaction of fulfilling their green aspirations without the disadvantage of the poorer quality of repulped post-consumer waste.
Our environmental contribution does not end there. We recycle all cardboard and plastic wrapping that comes through our system. The waste off-cuts that we produce are not dumped, but are sent for post-consumer recycling. Even the 200 million chads produced annually by our drilling processes join these off-cuts!
